Vancouver Northeast Community Partnership

The Vancouver Northeast Community Partnership (VNCP) was formed in February 2011 to provide employment services to the residents of Northeast Vancouver which covers the neighbourhoods of Hastings-Sunrise, Renfrew-Collingwood and parts of Cedar-Cottage Kensington.

The Vancouver Northeast Community Partnership includes:

Together, these organizations have more than 125 years of experience in providing employment and other services to local residents. Over the years, we have helped thousands of job seekers to find work, including young people, newcomers, and persons with disabilities.   Together, we work with hundreds of employers to help meet recruiting needs.

The partners decided that by working together, we could:  improve opportunities for successful programming; create stronger and better employment services for the community; build on the complementary employment services skills and experiences of each organization;  strengthen each organization; and be more strategic in the use of resources.

Under the leadership of MOSAIC, the organizations are now providing employment services in the Vancouver Northeast Employment Centre as part of the Employment Program of British Columbia.
The following values describe our approach:

  • Person-centred
  • Integrated, seamless service delivery
  • Learning and sharing environment
  • Flexible responses to job seekers’ employment goals
  • Creative use of resources
  • A consistent quality of service
